{"id":334,"date":"2015-02-23T08:13:34","date_gmt":"2015-02-23T14:13:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.socpsy.com\/casks\/?p=334"},"modified":"2015-02-24T14:44:50","modified_gmt":"2015-02-24T20:44:50","slug":"martial-peerage-facebook-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.socpsy.com\/casks\/martial-peerage-facebook-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Martial Peerage Facebook Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As most players in the SCA know, the SCA Board of Directors voted to approve a new peerage, Masters of Defense, which is solely a fencing peerage.\u00a0 There is a group that has now formed to promote the petition to the BoD for an &#8220;omnibus&#8221; peerage for the other martial activities that currently do not have a separate peerage: equestrian, archery, thrown weapons, siege weapons.\u00a0 They have set up a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/638147782978374\/\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook page<\/a> to discuss issues.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/638147782978374\/\" target=\"_blank\">Please consider joining this group<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I am not strongly motivated to promote additional peerages.
